Since Monday, April 1, 2024, the new Director of the RQMP is Ion Garate from the University of Sherbrooke (Department of Physics and Quantum Institute). As required by the statutes of the RQMP, management rotates between the three divisions, and Ion will remain in position for 2 years. Ion will work to ensure that the RQMP continues to be a pillar of collaborative research in Quebec. It will be a pleasure for him to meet and discuss with the members of the RQMP, particularly during the major conference on May 7.
