Dear RQMP members,
Here is your information kit containing the affiliation procedures, the RQMP logos and the charters and policies.
LOGOS & GRAPHICS
AFFILIATION VISIBILITY
As a regular member of the RQMP, you have access to the collaborative network, scientific and networking events, financially supported instrumental platforms, as well as the expertise of research professionals funded by the RQMP. All this work environment is possible thanks to the FRQ’s strategic grouping grant that the RQMP has held since 2003.
It is important for the financial sustainability of the RQMP that the success of our group, and especially yours, be visible. In addition to the affiliation to be included in all your publications, the FRQ has created a DOI specific to the RQMP to indicate better traceability of your results. It is now ESSENTIAL to indicate this in all your results, as the FRQ will use it to quantify the results of the RQMP.
Here is the procedure to make your RQMP membership visible:
-
- Affiliation in all forms of publication: The RQMP does not have a civic address and adding one more affiliation to all the ones you already have would be a lot. So, the procedure is to simply add “, Regroupement québécois sur les Matériaux de pointes” in your university affiliation. Here is an example, which varies according to the journal:
- Department of Physics and Regroupement Québécois sur les Matériaux de Pointe, University of Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Québec J1K 2R1, Canada.
- Institut quantique
- Other groups you’re affiliated with
- DOI in funding or acknowledgements section: In the funding section of research or acknowledgements, it is now necessary to indicate “XXX authors benefit from their affiliation to the RQMP https://doi.org/10.69777/309032 “

Associate members are not required to display their links with the RQMP; however, if your research has benefited from the support of research professionals or shared equipment platforms, it will be greatly appreciated if you mention this in your publications.
CHARTER AND POLICIES
Here are the policies to be followed by all participants in RQMP research and event activities. The general policies outline the committees that make up the RQMP (details of past committees and their various compositions can be found in the appendix), the conditions for supporting events, the work recognition policy, and the language guidelines.
