Indeed, these common methods allow scientific advances to be made in various fields of application. Thus, the expertise of a team needs to understand the contact properties in a quantum device can be found either with theorists or experimenters. The expertise of theorists working to identify new materials for solar panels and the one of experimenters who deposit optical layers are therefore complementary.
The RQMP brings together 80 research teams in 3 institutional poles: Université de Montréal/Polytechnique Montréal, McGill University, and Université de Sherbrooke. Together with the student community and research staff, it is a group of 580 people, to which is added about thirty collaborating members from other institutions, government research centers and industrial partnerships.
