RQMP events

In addition to one-off events, the RQMP has its series of annual events:

The Grande Conférence du RQMP is the annual colloquium of the group. This day is an opportunity to bring together all the members, it takes place in the spring, either in Montreal or in Sherbrooke. Each year the committee chooses a theme and three speakers from the RQMP as well as a major guest speaker come to present their research and expertise on the subject. The day ends with a networking cocktail and poster presentations.

The RQÉMP, a Quebec group studying advanced materials, is the student committee of the RQMP. Each year they organize the RQÉMP summer school. All students, from the RQMP or not, from all study cycles, have the opportunity to attend these three days of school on advanced materials. Registration fees include participation, accommodation, transportation, and are reimbursable by study supervisors.
