The summer school is an event open and accessible to the entire student and research community in materials science, from the baccalaureate to the post-doctorate. This conference will feature a variety of presentations addressing the different research axes of the RQMP, with presentations offered by professors from academia, such as Patrick Fournier from the University of Sherbrooke and Carlos Silva from the University of Montreal, and by experts from the Canadian professional community, such as Chloé Gauvin-Ndiaye from Nord Quantique and Jeremy Dawkins from GBatteries. There will also be networking activities, and a competition for the best student presentation. This is the perfect opportunity to brush up on your presentation skills while trying your luck at winning a prize!
The 2024 edition will take place at Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, from August 14 to 16, 2024.
The registration fee is $200, which includes conferences, networking activities, round trip from Montreal to Sherbrooke, accommodation and meals. A receipt and proof of attendance will be provided to allow reimbursement by your research group.
