SUMMARY:RQMP Grand Conference (2026 edition)
DESCRIPTION:The RQMP Grand Conference is the annual gathering of all our members and collaborators. It’s an opportunity to discuss materials science\, foster collaborations\, and celebrate the achievements of our members. \nThe 2026 edition will take place on June 12 at the University of Sherbrooke’s cultural centre. The theme of this edition was “At the Frontiers of Materials Engineering.” \n  \nOn the program: \n\nTwo major conferences\n\nLecture by Leslie Schoop (Professor of Chemistry\, Princeton University)\nGuest lecture by Leonard R. MacGillivray (Professor of Chemistry at the University of Sherbrooke)\n\n\nLocal Conferences\n\nJuanita Bocquel (Université de Sherbrooke)\nOussama Moutanabbir (Polytechnique)\nPeter Grütter (McGill)\n\n\nPoster session\nCocktail\n\n\nPosters: \n \nAll participants are welcome to present their work through posters. To present a poster\, please select “I present a poster” when registering. You will also be asked for the title of your poster. Don’t hesitate to participate\, the top three posters will receive prizes ($$). \n \n\nTransport: \n \nA bus is scheduled to depart from the Montreal bus station (Berri-UQAM) at 7:30 a.m. on the morning of the conference.
