SUMMARY:Rendez-vous of research staff 2026
DESCRIPTION:The research staff rendez-vous\nAre you a research professional in science? This event is for you\, and only for you! \n  \nThe CQMF\, RQMP and PRIMA Québec have been working together for several years to build a Quebec community in advanced materials. It is important to us to put research professionals in the spotlight because you are the pillar of Quebec research. \n  \nWe are therefore pleased to announce that the second Rendez-vous for Research Staff will be held on April 17\, 2026\, at the Le Dauphin Hotel in Drummondville. An event by and for you exclusively! \n  \nThe day before\, on Thursday\, April 16\, 2026\, an icebreaker cocktail will take place from 6 p.m. at the hotel bar. The night at the hotel is offered to the participants of the cocktail. \n  \nThe objectives of this event are to connect all material research professionals in Quebec\, to discover each other’s expertise\, and to discuss the stabilization of your jobs. \n  \nOn the agenda: \n\nThe importance of research professionals in the ecosystem\nHow to stabilize research professional jobs\n7 presentations of expertise from professionals from CCTTs and universities\nTraining to learn how to recognize and value your skills\nDiscussion workshop\n\n  \nYou can now register for the event and discover the program on the event’s Eventbrite page. In order to maximize participation\, the event will be free (including cocktails\, hotel and meal of the day)\, only your transportation will remain at the expense of your research group. \n  \nRegistration including cocktail reception and hotel stay is closed. Registration for Friday\, April 17th is open until March 31st.
